Pok Pok-in around Portland

Portland. Home of the hipsterest hipsters, extensive parks and waterfall hikes, and bombtastic food.

Driving up the PCH is no easy feat and a pit stop at Pok Pok was a well deserved rest. True to the Portlandia style, Pok Pok is a small Thai restaurant that is both proud of its culture and obsessed with its food. With a menu packed to the edges with delicious food descriptions, it was hard for me to finally settle on ordering the Fish Sauce Wings (must try, trust) and the Pok Pok Special (best way to enjoy both the charcoal roasted chicken and papaya salad all in one order).

Heads up, the lines can get pretty long. But, there’s plenty of specialty shops, ice cream stores, and cafes all up and down the street for you to peruse while you wait.
