We headed towards Shiodome station, bought our tickets and took the Yurikamome line towards お台場 Odaiba. We spent a few hours at Joypolis, a SEGA arcade center, before checking out the Tokyo Trick Art Museum.
By the time we got done there, it was around 14:00 (2:00pm). I was hungry, and イカヤキスタンド Ikayaki Stand was right below the Trick Art Museum so I decided to stop in for a quick bite and some coffee!
The small stand was located inside the mall, but only occupied a small area. There were about four or five small tables for two. There was also a small seating area outdoors. Ikayaki Stand sells something like an omelette with squid inside topped with a variety of sauces. The normal, standard flavor was just sauce and mayonnaise, which is what I bought. There were other toppings such as salt and mineral, corn and butter, and yuzu pepper.
I really liked the flavor. It reminded me of a たこ焼き (takoyaki), but omelette style! In addition, I bought a small drip coffee with drink with my snack. My cousin just got a lemonade, which they make there as well. No picture was taken though.
After the quick lunch and coffee. We were ready to continue our adventures in お台場 Odaiba, and made our way for the Gundam, umbrellas in hand.
