Luke’s Lobster – Chicago

It’s late, I’m hungry, and it’s too cold outside to walk long distances.

Huddled in our hotel, we search the internet for noms.

We came across Luke’s Lobster and images of overfilled lobster rolls took over my screen.
Brain: Yes
Tummy: YES

Luke’s was only two blocks away and it was warm and toasty inside.

My orders came out fast and perfect. We ordered the clam chowder and a Taste of Maine: ½ Lobster Roll, ½ Crab Roll, ½ Shrimp Roll, 2 crab claws, 1 drink, 1 chips/coleslaw, 1 pickle. The clam chowder was warm and not over saturated with potatoes (I hate when they do that).

The rolls were perfect. First you bite into the warm bun that ends in a slight crunch from the toasted butter. Then the cold refreshing seafood floods your mouth and you’re in heaven.

The servers were fun and knowledgeable about the food they were serving. And I also love that they tell you where all the seafood is sourced from so you know exactly what you’re eating.
