We did many touristy thing. We ate many yummy foods. And we saw such many naked statues. And now, it is our last night in Paris. We decided to go out with a Parisian bang at La Coïncidence.
With the help of my trusty Google Translator, we ordered an appetizer: salad with avocado cream dressing (Salade Végétale & Crème D’Avocat). Prince J ordered the the Entrecôte (steak), with potato purée, and jus de viande (yummy gravy) and I got the Gigot D’Agneau Rôt (roasted lamb) with celery purée. And to end it all, the most delicious Crème Brûlée everrrrrrrrr. The dish was wide and shallow which maximizes the surface area of my favorite part: the crunchy burnt sugar top part /drool
What stuck in my memory was the celery purée. It was so good that I tried to discreetly scrape up every last bit with my fork and knife. Wished it was a less fancy place so I could just lick the plate! It was simultaneously creamy and light and flavorful and refreshing. And mixed in the with juice from the lamb, omg it was just mouthwatering-ly amazing.
