Raw Food Adventure – Los Angeles

Master Ha – Ha Sun Saeng is a little restaurant at the south edge of Koreatown. It’s not too overcrowded, but it’s still pretty hard to find parking because, after all, we’re still in Koreatown.

This is my first raw crab adventure. And it was so bomb. You know it has to be excellent quality because raw shellfish is no joke and your tummy will know instantly if it’s bad or not. The soy sauce marinade was spot on: salty, but not too much. And mixed with the rice, omgggggg. The raw soy sauce marinated shrimp was bomb as well. I wish I had saved more of my rice to eat with the shrimp though. The combo also comes with a soup, we got the Boiled Beef Brisket Soup. The taste was so light and smooth and clean; it perfectly complimented all the bold flavors of the raw seafoods.

Also, super grateful they deshell everything for you, because I struggle so so hard with shells it’s not even funny to watch…after a while.

They are actually known for their Sulung Tang, but I didn’t have enough room left in my tummy at all. So I’ll be back!!
