Hoshino Coffee – Tokyo

Tucked away above the hustle and bustle of Shibuya Crossing, Hoshino Coffee offers a convenient spot to sit down and escape, yet still be in the middle of it all. Located inside the 109Men’s building in Shibuya, we made a stop here to try some of their desserts, and sit down for some coffee.

I ordered a charcoal-roasted coffee, and we tried a few different pancakes. These pancakes are not your normal flapjacks; these are soft, fluffy clouds of flavor bombs.

We order a strawberry pancake, a chocolate banana pancake, a regular pancake and a regular fluffy-type. They were not overly sweet but extremely soft and airy.

The coffee was also on point. I could definitely taste the difference between a regular roasted coffee and the charcoal roasted coffee. The slight charcoal taste, gives it a boost in flavor and a bolder taste over all.

I would definitely recommend a pit-stop here if you looking for a place to rest and recharge in the middle of Shibuya.
